Research Intern
Hi! I'm a post-baccalaureate research intern in the PRECISION lab. My experiences have spanned from working as an in-patient behavioral technician in Indiana to being a clinical research coordinator at MGH where I studied the emotional and social functioning in individuals at clinical high-risk for psychosis (CHR-P). At UI, I'm working with my team to coordinate a longitudinal neuroimaging and behavioral study aimed at identifying early brain and behavior patterns that may predict future mental health outcomes. I'm also helping launch Iowa CONNECT, a CHR-P clinic that will help support adolescents and young adults at clinical high-risk for psychosis, and connect them to psychosis-risk services. In my free time, you can find me dancing, painting with watercolors, knitting, and swimming!

Research Intern
Yiming Qian, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the PRECISION Lab at the University of Iowa, working with Dr. Jacqueline Clauss. His research focuses on developmental cognitive neuroscience, with an emphasis on understanding inter- and intra-individual variability in brain network organization and developmental trajectories to better understand heterogeneity in psychotic risk and resilience.

Research Intern
Hi! I'm a post-baccalaureate research intern in the PRECISION Lab. Before joining the lab, I worked as a research assistant in the Iowa ADHD and Development Lab for three years, where I studied ADHD symptom variability, how transitions during adolescence influence mental health, and daily fluctuations in depression and anxiety symptoms. I’ve also worked as an outreach counselor supporting individuals with serious mental illness. At PRECISION, I help coordinate research visits, administer behavioral assessments and clinical interviews, and collect data for our longitudinal study of individuals at clinical high risk for psychosis. My research interests include exploring personality psychopathology, psychotic disorders, and emotion dysregulation. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, arts and crafts, and thrifting!
